Our career oriented, team player, Producer/Production Coordinator will produce great content, have strong resources, and a reel that speaks for itself. You’ll, be extremely pleasant and well organized and oversee our Long Island production office. You love producing pieces that make a difference and always have great impact. Your strengths include scheduling, bidding, creating decks, booking crews & editors, as well as project tracking. Experience with Virtual events a plus. This position requires a highly organized person who inspires clients and crew alike. The ideal candidate is within a close radius of our offices in Cedarhurst 11516, we’re next to the LIRR. If you’re commutes too long you’re going to be spent before you get to work! Typically we are responsible for concept to completion so this position offers a lot of creative freedom. DMJ Studios a growing Long Island video & editorial boutique is dedicated to finding an amazing full time in house editor/preditor. Must be an expert with the Adobe Suite (Premiere/Photoshop/AfterEffects), experienced with non-scripted videos and a great visual storyteller. Strong graphic, music, and creative ability is a must. The ideal candidate will be computer and software savvy and have a passion for growth. Videos we produce include: biographical, patient testimonial, fundraising, medical and commercials. Intern Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing footage and research materials: stock footage
* Organizing footage on Hard Drives AND in Google Sheets Office
* Update and post social media and website content;
* Shadow producer and editor
* PA on company shoots
* Participate in company creative meeting
* Video editing for social media posts
Intern Requirements and Qualifications
* High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit. Noncredit opportunities available
* Proficient computer skills, including Premiere, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and other Adobe Apps an advantage
* Must be 18 years of age
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-directed and able to work without supervision
* Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
